9 Week Course
The Tower Crane Operator program offered is for Apprentices on Tower Cranes greater than 5 ton capacity. This is a 3-year apprenticeship with technical training in the first and third years. The first period of training includes 4 weeks of attendance in Edmonton, AB plus 180 hours of pre-registration self-study assignments. The second period requires 1,500hrs of on-site training with an employer. The third year of training includes 5 weeks of attendance in Edmonton, AB plus 180 hours of pre-registration self-study assignments. Apprentices will learn the basic skills needed to be successful in the trade through theory instruction and hands-on practice.
